This is not strictly a lazarus issue, but BGRAFreeType.pas does not
compile because it has this define:
[Lazarus] A problem in IDE form view (Re: Lazarus Release 2.0.10)
In reply to this post by Free Pascal - Lazarus mailing list
Hello folks, I'm happy to have new Lazarus!
Now I use Lazarus 2.0.10 on macOS High Sierra with a MacBook Pro 2011 (sadly old) and have found a matter.
As you can see in Fig3.png, the icons on the Form view are doubling. The PaintBox behind the icons is also doubling. The 'true' components are upper left ones. Moving them produces the same movement in the lower right 'shadow.' Newly added components come with the 'shadows.'
What is the workaround?
Opened by Lazarus 2.0.10 on El Capitan (sadly old, too), there are no problems. The project itself can be built and run appropriately in Lazarus on both High Sierra and El Capitan.
Tomorrow, I will test Lazarus 2.0.10 on macOS Catalina.
